In 2013, data on the consumption of plastic used for products held
for sale were collected for the first time. These are data on UMG’s
products (CDs and DVDs) and those of Canal+ Overseas (decoders sold
to customers). Set-top boxes and other products leased out to customers
are not counted in this indicator as this equipment is recycled by the
business units concerned.
