Bridget Jones returns to the screens after 12 years of absence! The third opus, Bridget Jones’s Baby, hit the theaters on September 16 in the US and 46 other territories in the world at this stage – with a French premiere on October 5.

This film was created thanks to a long-standing partnership (which began in 2000) between Studiocanal and Working Title (Universal), one of the world’s leading film production companies led by its two co-Chairmen Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan. Bridget Jones’s Baby was co-financed by Working Title, Miramax and Studiocanal (Studiocanal will also distribute the film in selected territories).

In addition to Bridget Jones, this long quality partnership has enabled the production of feature films such as Legend, Burn After Reading, Billy Elliott, Love Actually or Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. It perfectly represents the rich European and British cinema.

Widely acclaimed by film critics, this third opus of Bridget Jones’ adventures was directed by Sharon Maguire who also directed the first one. After breaking up with Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), Bridget Jones’s (Renee Zellweger) “happily ever after” hasn’t quite gone according to plan. Fortysomething and single again, she decides to focus on her job as top news producer. Her love life takes a turn and Bridget meets a dashing American named Jack (Mark Dempsey), the suitor who is everything Mr. Darcy is not. In an unlikely twist she finds herself pregnant, but with one hitch…she can only be fifty percent sure of the identity of her baby’s father …

We won’t say more!
