Apple has opened its doors to CanalPlay Infinity. Since July 10, the Canal+ VOD (Video On Demand) platform is accessible to all multimedia box users via subscription to iTunes. This is the first and only offer of its kind in France, to be presented on Apple TV.

This new agreement shows Canal+’s willingness to offer its VOD on all connected TV formats, especially those most used and enjoyed by consumers. It also boosts CanalPlay Infinity’s leadership and opens up new opportunities. In less than two years, CanalPlay Infinity has been rolled out through all ISPs, on tablets (iPads) and computers (PCs and Macs), as well as on game consoles.

More than 5,000 content items bundled into three packages thus round out Apple’s multimedia TV offering: Movies, with a large selection of films from the greatest French and international studios (Warner, Gaumont, Sony, Disney, M6 SND, Pathe and BBC); Successful Series (including Castle, Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, Weeds, Breaking Bad and Mad Men); and Kids for young audiences, offering the licensed series most loved by children (Dora the Explorer, Pokemon, Sponge Bob and Noddy).

The CanalPlay Infinity subscription is marketed with no commitment for €9.99 per month for unlimited use on a TV and a second screen (computer or tablet).
