Studiocanal is Europe’s largest studio with a catalogue of about 5000 titles such as La grande vadrouille, Les Bronzés, or César & Rosalie. Around 1400 titles are available on the VOD platforms and more than 700 movies are sold to French TV channels. Moreover, every year a dozen of movies are released by Studiocanal in France, from the first movie by Igor Gotesman Five starring Pierre Niney in theater on March 30, 2016 to the next film of director Cédric Klapisch. Being Executive Vice President of production and distribution of Studiocanal France means heading a team of 45 people. In this interview, Géraldine Gendre speaks about the different sides of her position:  the production side of her job that involves ensuring a steady flow of content, and seeking out and identifying potential content; and the distribution side that involves marketing that content as effectively as possible.
