The two managing directors – actor and comedian François-Xavier Demaison and director Benoît Lavigne – today unveiled the new season’s program for the intimate Théâtre de l’Œuvre in Paris, located near Place de Clichy, renowned for the proximity of its actors to the audience. L’Œuvre became part of the Vivendi Village in 2015.
François-Xavier Demaison and Benoît Lavigne described their vision for the jewel of the Parisian art scene: “Together, we dreamed of, designed and built our vision of the Théâtre de l’Œuvre for the years to come. To pay tribute to its origins it is important that the theatre is now a place of creation for its peers.”
The Théâtre de l’Œuvre was originally a concert hall when it was built in 1892. With this in mind, they felt it imperative for the theatre to be revived by a diversity of music and song. But there is much more in the offing: initiatives are planned to foster easy access for a young audience; master classes will be staged; previews of films or shorts will be shown; radio plays and live TV theatre performances could be broadcast, all in this intimate venue. The Théâtre de l’Œuvre really is a place of sharing, debating, friendliness and discovery.

La Fabrique à Kifs – Masterclass that takes the spectator on a relaxed and interactive journey to shine light on the truth about what makes us happy.
Le sourire d’Audrey Hepburn – Play with Isabelle Carré. The actress plays the character of Audrey Hepburn, with her fragility, her triumphs and her demons.
Thomas Fersen – In concert promoting his new album “Un coup de queue de vache”.
