Vivendi joins Paris&Co, the economic development and innovation agency of Paris, to launch The Cargo platform dedicated to the cultural, creative and digital content industries.

As a founding member, Vivendi will share its approach to Corporate Social Responsibility with the start-up. The group will pay particular attention to the ability of young companies to promote diversity of content and artistic expression in their projects, and to encourage more women into digital entrepreneurship.

The call for applications to integrate the platform was launched on April 7 and will stay open until May 18. Young innovative companies will be selected based on their close connection with the cultural and creative digital world and with the themes brought in by the founding members. The themes, expressed as keywords, include #sharing/collaborative experience/practices, #non-formatted content, #new narrative/ #innovative storytelling, #short formats,  #mobility, #cultural diversity, #digital by women, #CSR in the media sector, #glocal and #artistic expressions.

The selected companies will benefit from the following facilities:

– an incubation offer (premises, logistics services, business support);

– access to Paris Innovation Amorçage financing (grant of up to € 30k in seed stage);

– a privileged relationship with the founding members in order to foster synergies and business partnerships.
