Vivendi Founding Official Partner of the “International Film Meetings under the tent” in Ouarzazate
Vivendi, as a Founding Official Partner of the “International Film Meetings under the tent”, was pleased to renew its support to the second edition of this event which took place in Ouarzazate (Morocco) from March 9 to 12, 2011.
Vivendi’s support is part of a wider partnership which includes a training program. Through its Create Joy solidarity program, Vivendi aims to strengthen the skills and know-how of Ouarzazate Institut Spécialisé des Métiers du Cinéma (ISMC). By providing financial support to trainers engaged by France Volontaires association, Vivendi allowed ISMC students to produce 24 documentaries in 2 years.
The Meetings under the tent brought together students from fifteen film schools located in Belgium, Burkina Faso, Canada, Spain, United States, France, Lebanon, Morocco and Mauritania. The Meetings gave them this wonderful opportunity to share their cinema experiences, discover each others’ culture, build friendly or professional relationships. For the Meetings’ second edition, Vivendi invited the French young producer Catherine Bozorgan to lead a workshop with Rodolphe Buet, Studio Canal Executive Vice-President.
