The 5th Edition of the Women’s Forum Global Meeting was held in Deauville (France) on 15-17 October 2009. It gathered 1000 participants from over 80 countries, representing 500 organizations, around the theme “Think again, Think ahead! It is time for action, change and hope”.
Vivendi, a world leader in communications and entertainment, partner of this event, hosted a concert with the Universal Music Jazz France artist Rokia Traoré, a Malian singer and songwriter on October 15th. This concert was a wonderful demonstration of the promotion of cultural diversity, which is a key theme of Vivendi’s sustainable development strategy. Encouraging creative diversity in music and cinematographic expressions, promoting heritage, promoting local talents are objectives shared by the five business units of Vivendi.

Vivendi also presented its sustainable development policy in a workshop dedicated to "sustainable development as a killer-ap".
