In April, GROUP VIVENDI AFRICA (GVA) had a particularly event-rich calendar in the Republic of Congo.

GVA Congo participated in the 3rd edition of OSIANE, Exhibition of Information Technologies and Innovation, held in Brazzaville on April 16th and 17th. Marco De Assis, CEO of GVA, presented CANALBOX to the Congolese public, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Clement Mouamba, and the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Léon Juste Ibombo.

Mr. Clement Mouamba was also present at the commercial launch of CANALBOX, its very high speed internet offer for Congolese residential and business customers, which took place in Pointe Noire on April 18th. With its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network, GVA CONGO guarantees its subscribers unparalleled quality of service: unlimited connection with speeds up to 50 Mbps is now available in several neighborhoods of Pointe Noire, priced at 45,000 Francs CFA per month.

After Libreville in October 2017 and Lomé in March 2018, it is the third African city where GVA deploys its fiber optic network and markets its THD CANALBOX offers. Other countries on the continent will follow soon.
