Vivendi: appointment

 

Vivendi today announced the appointment of Hervé Philippe as Chief Financial Officer, starting
January 1, 2014.

Hervé Philippe was previously Chief Financial Officer and Directeur Général Délégué of the Havas Group.

 

Hervé Philippe

Born in 1958, Hervé Philippe is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and holds a degree in economics. He began his career with Crédit National in 1982 as business manager for company financing in the Ile-de-France region.

He then joined the COB (Commission des opérations de bourse, stock market operations commission) in 1989 as manager of the sector including French companies registered on the official stock exchange list. From 1992 to 1998, he served as Head of the Operations and Financial Information Department.

In 1998, he joined the Sagem group, where he served as Director of Legal and Administrative Affairs for Sagem SA (1998-2000), Administrative and Financial Director of Sfim (1999-2000), and Communications Director at Sagem SA (2000-2001). In 2001,
he took over the position of Chief Financial Officer, becoming a member of the Board of Sagem SA in 2003.

In November 2005, Hervé Philippe was named Chief Financial Officer and, in May 2010, “Directeur Général Délégué” of the Havas Group.
