Press Release

Vivendi notes the decision announced today by the Paris Court of Appeal.

Acknowledging that no judgment in this matter has yet been rendered in the United States, the Court of Appeal has rejected Vivendi’s application for a ruling that it was improper for a few French shareholders to participate in the American class action.

Vivendi regrets that the Court of Appeal has decided not to make a ruling at this stage on the question of whether American class actions were in accordance with French public policy.
