Black Ops II takes the People’s Choice Award
Call of Duty®: Black Ops II won the People’s Choice Award at the 2012 Paris Games Week. Over the four days of the show, over 10,000 gamers visited the new game’s stand to try out the multiplayer mode for the first time in France. During each 10-minute session, the players were able to try four of the many multiplayer cards available in the final version. These sessions also offered a good overview of the new features available: the new “Pick 10” class-creation system, the new scorestreaks and weapons and the new MultiTeam and Hardpoint playing modes. Maroc Telecom is offering its 100-dirham Jawal Pass to its Jawal and Jawal Thaniya customers. With this pass, customers receive three hours of 3.6 Mb 3G Internet access on their mobile phones – ideal for getting in touch with friends and family. To get started, customers who already have a 3G Jawal card can call 888 and follow the voice instructions. The pass will then be activated in 24 hours. Customers with compatible phones need only send a text message reading “config Internet Jawal” to the number 505 and save the configuration received. The service will then be available immediately.

GVT
A new city
Last week, GVT launched its operations in another city, Natal, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte and with about 800 000 inhabitants. With the launch, the company will have a presence in 137 cities throughout Brazil. The arrival of GVT in the city had an initial investment of $ 60 million for the construction of about 50 thousand lines of internet, telephone and cable TV, which correspond to coverage of 50% of the urban area.

Canal+ channels available on Microsoft Windows 8
The five Canal+ channels are now accessible in real time. Users need only download the Canal Touch app from the Windows Store for Microsoft’s new operating system for PCs and tablets. The application will later include Canal+ on-demand catch-up TV and the CanalSat mobile offering, which will represent over 50 live-broadcast channels.
