Third SFR Jeunes Talents Social Entrepreneurs competition

SFR is again supporting eight creators of projects aimed at solving a societal or environmental problem. Judging panels composed of specialists from the social-entrepreneurship field will select the winners based on the quality of the projects they are presenting and their aptitude for bringing them to fruition. At the crossroads of social and/or environmental innovation and digital technology, the projects presented may cover a wide range of fields, including eco-construction, handicapped issues, training and organic farming. At the end of the selection process, eight winners will receive assistance in making their business ideas a reality. The call for projects is open until January 7, 2013.

Maroc Telecom supports soccer

Maroc Telecom has supported the second Soccer Expo, which took place last week under the auspices of the Moroccan Ministry for Youth and Sports, with sponsorship and support from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and the African Football Confederation. Maroc Telecom has been promoting and encouraging this national sport for many years, and has created its own soccer school, the Athletic Club de Rabat (ACR), which provides soccer and athletics training. The school now has over 600 students. Maroc Telecom’s participation in this show was an additional opportunity for the operator to interact with the other attendees and to discuss soccer-related news and the future of the sport in Morocco, Africa and the rest of the world.
