See Tickets set another record on Sunday by selling standard tickets for Glastonbury 2019, one of the world’s largest music and performing arts festival taking place in Somerset, England, in June, in just 36 minutes.
The official Glastonbury Twitter account said it was experiencing “incredible demand” since 9am and, at 9.36am, the festival’s co-organizer Emily Eavis announced that the sale was over. “Tickets have now all sold out! We are blown away by the huge demand, looks like record numbers tried. Thank you for your patience and incredible support and for those of you who missed out, there will be a ticket resale in April,” she tweeted.
See Tickets has been responsible for selling yearly the 135,000 tickets to this event since 2000. It retails and distributes tickets for music, festival, theatre, sport, comedy and lifestyle events working with several thousand event organizers. See Tickets is part of Vivendi Ticketing (Vivendi Village) which expects to sell more than 20 million tickets in over 30 countries in 2018 through See Tickets in the UK, the US, Spain and Germany, Digitick in France and Paylogic in the Netherlands and Belgium.
