An opening, 15 minute long show introduced the channel’s new faces, many of them already very familiar to French viewers, and the overall programming line-up. Bertrand Meheut, Chairman of the Management Board of Canal+ Group, and Rodolphe Belmer, Chief Executive Officer, joined this introductory program.
Also launched on the same Sunday, October 7, was the newly named D17 channel, largely devoted to music and focusing 15 to 30 years old people.
