Producing a movie means being there right from start of a project alongside the authors and screenwriter but it also means helping them develop the project in order to see it broadcasted on TV at movie theaters. This is the job of Carole Bienaimé – Besse, Documentary Producer running her own production company April Snow Films. At the same time as developing the project, the producer has a lot of support work to do. Raising finance for the program so it can be made, that is the other side of the producer’s job which is shared with the broadcasters and editors so as to optimize the production. “I think you need two things to be a producer: combativeness and patience” tells in this video interview Carole Bienaimé-Besse.
