The well-known Printemps de Bourges festival annually launches the festival season in France. Cyril Bahsief, one of the festival’s programmers, explains his tasks and his career path in a ‘creative jobs’ interview on Culture(s) with Vivendi.
As a programmer, Cyril Bahsief is responsible for selecting the artists to showcase every year in Bourges. In addition, he acts as a bridge between the programming of Le Printemps de Bourges and that of the “Inouïs”, the festival’s section dedicated to emerging talents. Since its inception, this section has boosted the careers of many musicians such as Juliette, Zebda, Chinese Man and Skip the Use.
