SFR
SFR brings 4G to 275 cities

By launching 4G in Nantes, Saint-Etienne and Toulon, SFR has now brought its services to 275 cities. The operator is continuing its roll-out with the goal of covering 55 urban areas by the end of this year, which would mean coverage for 1,200 cities or more than 40% of the French population. This unprecedented nationwide roll-out is made possible especially through the use of 800 Mhz bandwidth, which guarantees greater reach with a smaller number of mobile sites and better coverage inside buildings. With 4G and Dual Carrier (LTE and DC-HSPA+), SFR will cover 70% of the population by the end of the year – the very best very high-speed mobile coverage in France.
