Coordinated by No Format!, “Made in Bamako” was recorded and mixed by interns following a training program launched by Vivendi in 2006 to strengthen local production capacity in Africa. This training program takes place in Bamako in Salif Keita’s studio, which Vivendi supports in its desire to promote local talents and make the Moffou studio a Malian cultural hub.

This initiative is fully in line with Vivendi’s sustainable development policy, which has defined as soon as 2003 the promotion of cultural diversity as a strategic issue of its societal responsibility.
