Music for Youth, a British organization based in London, encourages thousands of young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods to pursue personal growth through music through various workshops and concerts.

Vivendi Create Joy has been a partner of MFY for many years, and endeavors to finance innovative projects that enable the association to grow and develop. After some memorable projects such as the Vivendi Sounds Ensemble in 2011 and the creation of an original composition, Message from the Border, helping with the creation of original compositions (Piece on a postcard, Jigsaw Jam, and others…), the adventure of the  Vivendi Sounds Bradford Massed Ensemble in 2012, the fabulous Co-Create Cornwall Massed Ensemble in 2013, the exchange between the Dream Orchestra and Orchestre à l’Ecole, … this year, Vivendi Create Joy is joining forces with Frequencies.

Frequencies is the brand new experimental program launched in Manchester to enable extraordinary talents to benefit from workshops and professional advice, and to have a stage on which to express their art. The novelty is that it is the young fans of urban music, electro and world music who are targeted, those who are not necessarily from music schools or conservatoires but who are self-taught, passionate music-makers.

On September 27 and 28, these young people will present their production to a large audience and to music industry professionals. The most remarkable talents are scheduled to appear on the stage of the Royal Albert Hall on November 12, 2014, for the Music for Youth Schools Prom.
