Game of Thrones, season 2
The battle between the Lannisters and the Starks has resumed and become even more intense. On Thursday December 26, Canal+ will be airing two episodes of the second season of Game of Thrones. After a first season that thoroughly won over French television viewers, the hit series adapted from George R. R. Martin’s medieval fantasy novels is back. As we return to the story, the death of King Robert has led to the young Joffrey’s accession to power. But the new king, a tyrant more inclined to satisfy his own desires than to govern the Seven Kingdoms, is finding his legitimacy contested from all sides. The throne is stirring up envy… Stannis and Renly Baratheon, the late King Robert’s brothers, are asserting their claim to the throne based on Joffrey’s supposed illegitimacy. Robb Stark, who has proclaimed himself King of the North, the head of a free and independent kingdom, dreams only of avenging his father’s death, while Jon Snow explores the world of the Night’s Watch and discovers the terrible threat brewing on the other side of the Wall.

Maître Gims, who was one of the best-selling artists of 2013, will also make a splash in 2014 with the release of his new album Subliminal and his debut as a producer. In addition to being a singer-songwriter and performer, the rapper has just created his own label, MMC, and signed a joint venture with Universal Music. “Maître Gims is one of the most talented artists of his generation,” says Pascal Nègre. “I look forward to working with him through Universal Music, assisting in the discovery of new talent and the development of Monstre Marin, his label.” Maître Gims is also very pleased with this partnership. “It is an honor to join Admiral Nègre’s crew.
