House of Cards – Season 2

Season 2 of House of Cards is currently being aired every Thursday at 8:55 pm on Canal+. It takes 13 episodes to reach the White House. “There’s only one rule: hunt or be hunted,” says Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), who promises to fight with no mercy to achieve his ambitions. Now Vice President of the US, he continues his rise with the help of his wife, Claire (Robin Wright), but it’s going to be tricky. His former lover, journalist Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara), is coming dangerously close to learning the truth about Congressman Peter Russo’s death. After a first season that won acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic, this second season – which is just as masterful and disturbing – returns with the hushed ambiance within which Frank Underwood’s cruel machinations play out.

George Michael’s triumphant return

George Michael is a world-renowned star who has sold over 100 million albums, with each new release making a major splash. Now he’s back after a 10-year hiatus with a fresh album, Symphonica, which is proving to be no exception to the rule. This new work was developed according to a simple concept: the focus is on Michael’s masterful voice, which is supported by a symphony orchestra. The album was recorded during the tour of the same name, which took place in 2011 and 2012 within some of Europe’s very best concert halls. Heralded by the lead single, “Let Her Down Easy,” the album is available on Pure Audio Blu-ray and in a deluxe version containing 17 tracks (compared to 14 on the standard version), and hits stores this week.
