We met opera singer Julie Fuchs in the Art Nouveau decor at Maxim’s in Paris. The musical interview starts with a private recital. On the small stage of the Belle Epoque establishment the soprano sings ” Yes!” extract from her self-titled album (Decca Records, Universal Music France). The album recorded with conductor Samuel Jean and the Lille National Orchestra covers all the period of the Roaring Twenties from Ravel to Poulenc with iconic songs of the operettas and beyond.
