For the ninth year in a row, SFR is supporting music festivals. This year, there will be a total of 19, including five new events: Europavox, Soliday’s, Musilac, Les Transmusicales de Rennes and I Love Techno. SFR will participate with its “SFR Dome” and the “SFR Young Talents Stage” and is planning a special initiative for all music fans. Through the SFR Live Concerts Facebook page and SFR’s Twitter account (@sfrliveconcerts), festivalgoers will be able to share their experiences and participate in contests to win tickets. SFR Live Concerts is also accessible on mobile phones with the SFR Live Concerts app, which is available for Android and iOS, and on the mobile portal m.sfr.fr. The mobile applications can be downloaded free-of-charge.

Call of Duty®: Ghosts

A new Call of Duty® title is coming. The series that has defined an entire generation of players and games is poised to go even further with Call of Duty®: Ghosts. Released by Activision Publishing and Infinity Ward, this new title ushers in a crucial stage that will redefine the series for future developments, with a new world, new history, new characters and new experiences, all generated by a next-generation Call of Duty game engine. The game will be available for Xbox 360® for Microsoft, PlayStation®3 and PC on November 5. It will also be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox Infinity soon thereafter. GVT, in partnership with NGO Safernet, is conducting a survey to learn how the internet has been used by young people in Brazil. The research is being done with young people up to 23 years and parents. The information will be used in the preparation of GVT Internet Responsible Use Guide. This material is used to motivate a healthy discussion about cautions needed in the web between parents and children and also can be used by teachers in school activities. GVT supports this cause since 2008.

From May 15 through 26, as the official partner to the Cannes Film Festival for the past 20 years, Canal+ will be airing some 350 hours of dedicated programs, including some 50 hours of unencrypted content. Viewers will be able to watch the traditional opening and closing ceremonies and the not-to-be-missed Grand Journal, including all the stars, Guignols segments and red-carpet coverage. Canal+ Cinéma will feature a roaming circle of journalists covering films that have not yet come to cinemas.
