Strike Back
, the new season, on Canal+
On June 16 at 8:55 pm, two Section 20 agents set off on some new missions. No vacation for Scott and Stonebridge this summer. They have once again been called on an urgent mission – this time, to track down some drug traffickers in connection with a large terrorist network. This quest will take them from Colombia to the Middle East, with stops in Beirut, Budapest, Russia and Germany. This series is based on an intriguing but simple concept: the plot travels from one mission to the next, each developed across two episodes. Over five Monday evenings, viewers can tune in to see a different mission. This UK series was inspired by the novels of English writer Chris Ryan, a former SAS member. It is now produced by USA’s Cinemax (an HBO subsidiary). With its explosive punch, action and humor, Strike Back is a refreshingly direct show.
