Vivendi is participating in the international conference “Culture & Sustainable Development”, co-organized by the French and Quebec Ministries of Culture, to be held in Paris on November 22 and 23. Vivendi  will speak at the round table on the theme of “Culture, economy and sustainable development” and will present how the groupe integrated culture into its sustainable development policy.

This conference is open to the public and will bring together artists, researchers, experts, culture and sustainable development professionals, policy makers and representatives from international organizations in order to submit international thinking and identify ways of action to promote better integration of culture in sustainable development initiatives.

Since 2003, Vivendi has defined the promotion of cultural diversity as one of the strategic issues of its sustainable development policy. Vivendi recognizes culture as one of the pillars of sustainable development because it stimulates creativity, contributes to economic progress and strengthens social cohesion.
