Sandrine Dufour appointed Chairman of Vivendi Mobile Entertainment

Sandrine Dufour has been chosen take over Robert de Metz’s role as Chairman of Vivendi Mobile Entertainment (VME). Meanwhile, Cedric Ponsot, the general director of VME, will continue to lead operations at Zaoza.
VME, a Vivendi business unit, created and developed zaOza, which is the first PC/Mobile service to facilitate access to multimedia content (video, TV shows, music, video games, ring tones, etc.). Its simple architecture allows peers to legally share high quality exclusive content.
Sandrine Dufour, 41, will continue to serve as Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Vivendi, with Philippe Capron, Chief Financial Officer and member of Vivendi’s Management Board. Together they are responsible for consolidation, financial reporting, planning, and budget and management control.
Before joining Vivendi in 1999, Sandrine Dufour graduated from ESSEC and CFA, worked as a financial analyst with BNP from 1990 to 1993, then was in charge of the telecommunication sector at the brokerage firm of CAI Cheuvreux from 1993 to 1999.
Within Vivendi, she was formerly Special Advisor to Vivendi’s Chief Financial Officer, Chief Financial Officer of VU Net, as well as Vivendi’s Senior Vice President in charge of Internal Audit and Special Projects based in New York.
