Vivendi congratulates the Ryder Cup winners
Captained by Colin Montgomerie, Vivendi’s official golf ambassador, Europe has regained the Ryder Cup, beating the United States by 14.5 to 13.5. Vivendi would like to congratulate the European team on their superb victory.
Six players from the winning side were in action at the 2009 Vivendi Trophy, the perfect European warm-up for the Ryder Cup. Spectators at the course and viewers at home watching the action live on Canal+ were able to see Rory McIllroy, Francesco Molinari, Ross Fisher, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Graeme McDowell and Peter Hanson demonstrate their skills on the wonderful course at Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche. The next edition of the Vivendi Trophy with Severiano Ballesteros will take place from September 15th to 18th 2011, once again at Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche. Vivendi is also actively supporting France’s bid to stage the Ryder Cup in 2018.
The next Vivendi Trophy, a Canal+ Events tournament, will take place at Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche from September 15th to 18th 2011.
