Diversity – A demand becomes a need!

Diversity – of origin and culture, gender and age, training and experience, work specialty, trade, or profession (see Disability) – is a strength and a factor for success in our society. All our employees work to promote it. It is a key orientation in recruiting and career management.

Evaluation of applicants is conducted using objective criteria related to the skills and behaviors needed for the position. Concretely, the Group is interested in candidates who have varied profiles, training, and career tracks.

For France, the Vivendi Group, along with SFR and Canal+, has signed the Diversity Charter, launched by the Montaigne Institute. Signed by 1,700 companies, this key document marks its signatories’ commitment to promoting diversity within their workforces in order to reflect the diversity of France’s population.

In 2010, SFR was the first telecommunications operator to receive the Diversity Label awarded by Afnor. This distinction concretizes the company’s commitment to fighting discrimination and to equal opportunity.
