Valor, Brazil’s leading business newspaper

 

Amos Genish, Vivendi’s Chief Convergence Officer, received one of the highest accolades from the Brazilian business community this week after being named “Executive of the Year 2017” in the telecoms sector by Valor, the largest and most influential economic newspaper in Brazil.

Vivendi extends its congratulations to Mr. Genish on this well-deserved honor, which recognizes amongst other the important work he performed as President and CEO of Telefonica Brasil, the largest and most profitable telecom operator in the country.

Amos Genish cofounded GVT, which was subsequently integrated into Vivo to form Telefonica Brasil. GVT proved to be a particularly innovative and fast-growing telecom and Pay-TV operator in the region.

Mr. Genish was appointed Vivendi’s Chief Convergence Officer in January 2017.
