Franck Appietto is appointed Director of unscripted Programming of CANAL+. In this position, he will report to Maxime Saada, CEO of CANAL+ Group.
Franck Appietto will also retain his current position as Director of unscripted and entertainment programming of D8, for which he continues to report to Xavier Gandon, Managing Director of D8.
Franck Appietto joined CANAL+ Group in July 1999. He successively held the positions of Production Manager, Production Coordinator, and then Director of Productions and Magazines before becoming Director of Programming for the Planète channel in 2003. In April 2009, Franck Appietto was appointed Director of Entertainment Programming and was in charge of the COMEDIE !, JIMMY, and CUISINE.TV channels. In September 2012, Franck Appietto joined the free-to-air division as Director of unscripted and entertainment programming of D8 and D17.
