SFR

Kaptéo
SFR will soon be offering Kaptéo, the first voice-operated pedestrian GPS developed for the visually impaired. This is the first time SFR has launched a product designed for those with disabilities. This battery-operated GPS navigation system, which is the first of its kind to feature 100% voice operation, helps make day-to-day trips on foot or by public transportation easier for the visually impaired. Tested via Atelier SFR’s beta-testing platform, Kaptéo received favorable reviews. The visually impaired testers agreed that, although the product could still be further improved, it helped them to become more independent and was a very useful tool during their excursions. This product will be available for sale at Studio SFR in Paris beginning on November 15.
