LINCC, Paris & Co’s* innovation program dedicated to the cultural and creative industries and digital content, has joined Universal Music Group’s (UMG) Accelerator Engagement Network.

The worldwide music leader will bring its expertise to the selection and support of start-ups in the music industry or the entertainment sectors that are accepted into the LINCC incubation program. This high value-added expertise will be complemented by the existing mentorship and business programs offered to start-ups by Paris & Co.

UMG’s Accelerator Network, a unique initiative in the music industry, was launched in October 2017 with the aim of supporting the development of innovative new start-ups in the digital media sector.

LINCC joins six other accelerators already in the program: APX, a joint-venture of Axel Springer and Porsche (Berlin), NYC MediaLab (New York), Sparklabs (Seoul and Taipei), LeanSquare (Belgium), China Accelerator (Shanghai) and The Music Den (Toronto).
