Universal Music pays a tribute to Francis Poulenc, for the 50th anniversary of his death. Durand Salabert Eschig catalogues of Universal Music Publishing Classical editions publish “Poulenc, our contemporary” to honor one of the master of French melody. About twenty major artists, from Georges Prêtre to Lady Felicity Lott, exchange in a dialogue with the musicologist Hervé Lacombe and the Promotion Department of those catalogues based in Paris.

“Dialogues des Carmélites” is one of the rare lyrical works from the XXth century to be part of the international Opera repertoire. It will be soon on the Metropolitan Opera of New York and the Champs-Elysées Theater of Paris.

This initiative fully contributes to the promotion of musical heritage and is perfectly in line with Vivendi’s priorities of Corporate Social Responsibility.
