Canal+ was granted by UEFA one premium Champions League package. This will allow the channel to continue sustaining an already exceptional football offer.
The French pay-TV channel will broadcast one first pick game live on each match day of the Champions League and continue to follow the competition through its Canal Champions Club sports show.
Following each match day, subscribers will be able to see the all the highlights and top goals from the UEFA Champions League as part of Canal Football Club, a leading sports show broadcast unencrypted Sunday evenings on Canal+. Canal+ will also continue to broadcast the Champions League UEFA Magazine. The new contract covers three seasons, from 2015/2016 to 2017/2018.
By winning a major Champions League game one week after having been awarded the two premium French Ligue 1 packages, i.e. a total of three out of four premium packages, Canal+ Group is in a position to offer its subscribers the very best football line up ever brought together by a French broadcaster.
